This guide explains what to expect during vehicle pickup and return when renting through Ride and Tech. Following these steps helps avoid confusion and extra charges.
Vehicle Pickup Process
1. Arrive on Time
- Reach the pickup location at the agreed time
- Delays may affect your booking
2. Document Verification
Carry original:
- Valid driving license
- Government-issued ID
Booking confirmation may be verified.
3. Vehicle Inspection
Before driving:
- Check for scratches, dents, or damage
- Verify fuel level
- Ensure accessories (spare tyre, toolkit, documents) are present
- Take photos or videos for reference
Report any pre-existing damage immediately.
4. Handover Confirmation
- Accept the vehicle condition digitally or physically
- Receive keys and vehicle instructions
- Understand fuel and return rules
During Your Trip
- Use the vehicle responsibly
- Follow traffic laws
- Do not allow unauthorized drivers
- Avoid prohibited usage
Vehicle Return Process
1. Return on Time
- Return the vehicle at the scheduled time
- Late returns may attract additional charges
2. Fuel Check
- Return the vehicle with agreed fuel level
- Fuel shortage may result in charges
3. Final Inspection
At return:
- Vehicle condition is inspected
- Accessories and documents are verified
- Damage or cleaning issues (if any) are noted
4. Key Handover
- Hand over keys properly
- Confirm booking completion
Security Deposit Refund
- Deposit is refunded after inspection
- Deductions may apply for:
- Damage
- Late return
- Fuel difference
- Traffic fines
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
