Ride and Tech – Rental Services

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and deductions are handled for bookings made on rideandtech.com.
By making or accepting a booking, both users (renters) and providers (vehicle owners) agree to this policy.
1. Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment
- Once confirmed, cancellation rules apply
- Ride and Tech reserves the right to cancel bookings due to safety, legal, or operational reasons
2. User (Renter) Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Before Trip Start
Cancellation Time Refund Eligibility
More than 48 hours before pickup Full refund (excluding platform fee)
24–48 hours before pickup Partial refund
Less than 24 hours before pickup No refund
Refund percentages may vary based on provider-specific rules.
2.2 No-Show Policy
- If the user does not arrive on time without prior notice, it is treated as a no-show
- No refunds are issued for no-shows
3. Provider (Owner) Cancellation Policy
- Providers must not cancel confirmed bookings without valid reasons
- Repeated cancellations may result in:
- Listing suspension
- Reduced platform visibility
- Penalties or account termination
Ride and Tech may reassign vehicles when possible.
4. Trip Modifications
- Trip date or time changes depend on vehicle availability
- Modified bookings may result in:
- Price differences
- Partial refunds or additional charges
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days
- Bank processing times may vary
6. Security Deposit Refunds
- Security deposits are refunded after:
- Vehicle inspection
- Deduction of applicable charges
- Deductions may include:
- Late return fees
- Fuel difference
- Traffic fines
- Damage or cleaning charges
7. Early Returns
- No refunds for unused rental time
- Early return does not change booking charges unless approved in advance
8. Ride and Tech Cancellation
Ride and Tech may cancel a booking if:
- Vehicle safety concerns arise
- Provider fails to meet obligations
- Legal or regulatory issues occur
- Fraud or misuse is detected
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per circumstances.
9. Force Majeure
No refunds are guaranteed for cancellations caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or lockdowns
- Events beyond platform control
10. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of trip end
- Supporting evidence may be required
- Ride and Tech’s decision will be final for platform-related issues
11. Policy Updates
Ride and Tech reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of revised terms.
