Ride and Tech – Rental Services

This policy explains responsibility in case of damage, loss, or accidents.


1. User Liability

During the rental period, the user is responsible for:

  • Physical damage to the vehicle
  • Loss of accessories, keys, or documents
  • Traffic violations and fines
  • Towing or impound charges caused by misuse

Repair costs may be recovered from:

  • Security deposit
  • Additional charges if damage exceeds deposit


2. Provider Liability

Providers are responsible for:

  • Mechanical failures caused by poor maintenance
  • Valid insurance and registration
  • Legal ownership and vehicle documentation

Providers may not charge users for pre-existing damage.


3. Accidents

In case of an accident, users must:

  • Inform the provider immediately
  • Notify Ride and Tech support
  • File a police report if required
  • Cooperate with insurance processes

Failure to report may void insurance coverage.


4. Normal Wear & Tear

Normal wear such as minor scratches or tire wear is not chargeable to users.


5. Insurance Claims

  • Insurance coverage depends on provider policy
  • Deductibles (if any) may be charged to the user
  • Insurance does not cover illegal or negligent driving


6. Dispute Resolution

Ride and Tech may assist in dispute resolution but is not liable for final outcomes.
