Ride and Tech – Rental Services
This policy explains responsibility in case of damage, loss, or accidents.
1. User Liability
During the rental period, the user is responsible for:
- Physical damage to the vehicle
- Loss of accessories, keys, or documents
- Traffic violations and fines
- Towing or impound charges caused by misuse
Repair costs may be recovered from:
- Security deposit
- Additional charges if damage exceeds deposit
2. Provider Liability
Providers are responsible for:
- Mechanical failures caused by poor maintenance
- Valid insurance and registration
- Legal ownership and vehicle documentation
Providers may not charge users for pre-existing damage.
3. Accidents
In case of an accident, users must:
- Inform the provider immediately
- Notify Ride and Tech support
- File a police report if required
- Cooperate with insurance processes
Failure to report may void insurance coverage.
4. Normal Wear & Tear
Normal wear such as minor scratches or tire wear is not chargeable to users.
5. Insurance Claims
- Insurance coverage depends on provider policy
- Deductibles (if any) may be charged to the user
- Insurance does not cover illegal or negligent driving
6. Dispute Resolution
Ride and Tech may assist in dispute resolution but is not liable for final outcomes.
