These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ride And Tech self-drive vehicle rental platform and related rental services available through rideandtech.com.

By accessing the platform, creating an account, making a booking, listing a vehicle, or otherwise using our rental services, you agree to these Terms and any applicable policies referenced in them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the rental services.

1. About Ride And Tech

Ride And Tech operates a technology-enabled self-drive vehicle rental platform that may connect vehicle owners or providers (“Providers”) with customers or renters (“Users”).

Unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular vehicle or service, Ride And Tech does not own the vehicles listed by independent Providers.

Ride And Tech may facilitate activities such as:

• Vehicle listings
• Booking requests and confirmations
• Payments and applicable platform fees
• Communication between Users and Providers
• Customer support
• Verification and administrative processes

The specific responsibilities of Ride And Tech, Users, and Providers may vary depending on the vehicle, booking, and applicable service terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Ride And Tech rental services as a User, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or meet any higher age requirement applicable to a particular vehicle or service.
• Hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being rented.
• Provide accurate and complete personal information.
• Provide valid identification or verification documents when requested.
• Meet the applicable rental and eligibility requirements.
• Comply with applicable laws and traffic regulations.

Providers must also meet Ride And Tech's applicable verification and vehicle-listing requirements.

Ride And Tech may refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where eligibility, verification, safety, legal, or platform requirements are not satisfied.

3. User Account and Information

Users are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account or making a booking.

You must not:

• Create an account using false information.
• Impersonate another person.
• Share account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
• Provide fraudulent or altered documents.
• Use another person's identity or driving credentials.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and should notify Ride And Tech if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Ride And Tech's Platform Role

Ride And Tech provides technology and platform services intended to facilitate self-drive vehicle rentals.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• Ride And Tech is not the owner of vehicles listed by independent Providers.
• Ride And Tech is not a transport operator or taxi service.
• Providers remain responsible for the ownership, legality, maintenance, registration, and applicable insurance of their vehicles.
• Users are responsible for operating rented vehicles lawfully and safely.
• Information supplied by Providers should be accurate and complete, but Users should review the relevant vehicle and booking information before completing a rental.

Ride And Tech may take reasonable steps to verify listings, Providers, or Users, but verification does not eliminate the responsibility of each party to comply with applicable requirements.

5. User Responsibilities

Users must:

• Use the rented vehicle only for lawful purposes.
• Operate the vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Follow all applicable traffic and road-safety laws.
• Ensure that only authorized drivers operate the vehicle.
• Keep the vehicle reasonably clean and secure.
• Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location.
• Return the vehicle in substantially the same condition, subject to normal wear and tear.
• Report accidents, damage, breakdowns, or other significant issues promptly.
• Pay applicable rental charges, deposits, penalties, or other legitimate charges arising under the booking terms.

Prohibited Uses

Users must not use a Ride And Tech vehicle:

• While under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or prohibited substances.
• For racing, speed testing, or competitive driving.
• For transporting illegal goods or carrying out unlawful activities.
• For unauthorized commercial use, delivery, or passenger transport where prohibited by the applicable booking terms.
• For sub-renting or transferring possession to an unauthorized person.
• To tamper with, disable, remove, or interfere with GPS, tracking, safety, or vehicle systems.
• To use the vehicle outside agreed geographical or contractual restrictions where such restrictions apply.
• In any manner that creates an unreasonable safety or legal risk.

6. Vehicle Provider Responsibilities

Providers listing vehicles through Ride And Tech must:

• Own the vehicle or have the legal authority to offer it for rental.
• Provide accurate vehicle, registration, pricing, availability, and condition information.
• Maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Maintain applicable registration, permits, and insurance requirements.
• Provide the vehicle with legally required documents and equipment.
• Maintain reasonable cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Inform Ride And Tech of material changes affecting the vehicle's availability, condition, or eligibility.

Providers must not knowingly list vehicles that are unsafe, illegally registered, or otherwise unsuitable for the rental service.

Ride And Tech may suspend or remove a listing if information appears inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or inconsistent with applicable requirements.

7. Bookings and Availability

A booking is subject to vehicle availability and the applicable booking terms displayed or communicated at the time of reservation.

Ride And Tech may require verification or additional information before confirming a booking.

A booking may be declined, cancelled, or restricted where necessary because of:

• Vehicle availability
• Failed verification
• Payment issues
• Safety concerns
• Legal or eligibility requirements
• Suspected fraud or misuse
• Provider-related circumstances
• Technical or operational issues

Where applicable, refunds or alternative arrangements will be handled according to the relevant booking and cancellation policy.

8. Pricing, Payments and Security Deposits

The total amount payable for a booking may include:

• Vehicle rental charges
• Applicable platform or service fees
• Taxes
• Security deposits
• Other charges disclosed before or during the booking

Users are responsible for paying the applicable amount according to the payment terms provided for their booking.

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle, booking, or applicable rental conditions.

Additional charges may apply where permitted by the applicable booking terms, including charges relating to:

• Late return
• Excess or agreed fuel differences
• Traffic or parking penalties attributable to the User
• Excessive cleaning
• Vehicle damage
• Lost or damaged accessories
• Other documented costs arising from the User's use of the vehicle

Where applicable, deductions from a security deposit will be based on the relevant booking terms and available supporting information.

9. Provider Commission and Payouts

Ride And Tech may operate a commission-based model for participating Providers.

Applicable commission rates, service fees, and payout terms may be communicated through the Provider dashboard, agreement, or applicable service terms.

Provider payouts may be subject to:

• Successful completion of the booking
• Applicable platform fees or commissions
• Damage or dispute review
• Refunds or chargebacks
• Verification requirements
• Other applicable adjustments

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the applicable booking and cancellation terms.

Depending on when a booking is cancelled, the User may receive a full refund, partial refund, credit, or no refund where permitted by the applicable policy.

Separate rules may apply where a booking is cancelled because of:

• Vehicle unavailability
• Provider circumstances
• User eligibility or verification failure
• Safety concerns
• Operational issues
• Force majeure or circumstances outside reasonable control

11. Vehicle Condition, Damage and Accidents

Users should inspect the vehicle before accepting it and report any pre-existing damage or significant issue through the applicable Ride And Tech or Provider process.

Users must promptly report accidents, breakdowns, theft, damage, or other significant incidents.

Where a vehicle is damaged during a rental, responsibility and any applicable charges will be determined based on the circumstances, available evidence, applicable insurance terms, and the relevant booking conditions.

Users must not attempt unauthorized repairs or conceal damage.

12. Insurance

Insurance coverage may vary depending on the vehicle, Provider, policy, and applicable rental arrangement.

Users should review the applicable insurance information before accepting a vehicle.

Insurance may not cover losses arising from prohibited use, unauthorized drivers, negligence, illegal activities, driving under the influence, or other exclusions contained in the relevant policy.

Users remain responsible for complying with the applicable insurance conditions.

13. Traffic Fines and Legal Violations

Users are responsible for traffic violations, parking penalties, tolls, and other charges arising from their use of a vehicle during the rental period, except where applicable law or the booking terms provide otherwise.

Ride And Tech or the Provider may provide relevant User information to authorities or other authorized parties where legally required.

14. Account Suspension or Termination

Ride And Tech may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account, booking, or vehicle listing where reasonably necessary because of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraud or suspected fraudulent activity
• Misuse of the platform
• False or misleading information
• Safety concerns
• Legal or regulatory concerns
• Repeated complaints or serious service issues
• Unauthorized vehicle use
• Payment-related issues

Where appropriate, Ride And Tech may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services

Ride And Tech may use third-party services for functions such as:

• Payment processing
• Identity verification
• Communication
• Hosting and technical infrastructure
• Analytics
• Security
• Other platform-related services

Use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ride And Tech will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

This may include matters such as:

• Personal belongings left in a vehicle
• Acts or omissions of Users or Providers
• Vehicle-related issues attributable to a Provider
• Traffic violations committed by Users
• Unauthorized use of vehicles
• Third-party services or events outside Ride And Tech's reasonable control
• Indirect or consequential losses where exclusion is permitted by law

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Force Majeure

Ride And Tech will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, major technical failures, widespread network outages, civil disturbances, or other similar events.

Where reasonably possible, Ride And Tech may communicate the impact of such events and available alternatives.

18. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Ride And Tech website, branding, logos, text, graphics, software, and other original platform content are owned by or licensed to Ride And Tech.

Users and Providers may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Ride And Tech content without appropriate authorization.

Vehicle photographs, descriptions, and other Provider-submitted materials remain subject to the rights and permissions of their respective owners.

19. Changes to These Terms

Ride And Tech may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its services, platform, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate.

Continued use of the platform after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to the Ride And Tech rental platform or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India.
