Autonomous vehicles revolutionize the future of mobility, and for decades it\u2019s not happened except assistance systems in our cars. Today we will be able to experience how trip is going to change with self-driving cars. And as the technology continues to improve over time, A.I. that drives itself will do more than assist drivers \u2014 it will decide every aspect of driving.<\/p>\n<p>We can imagine that in the near future, autonomous entity as a part of vehicle will become available providing drivers with full autonomy (level 5) without any aspect to humanize when drive a car. AI-led <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/featured-insights\/mckinsey-explainers\/what-is-a-self-driving-car\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>self-driving technologies<\/strong><\/a>, armed with the ability to take that decision in real-time, will be able to steer its right path through a heavy stream of traffic or change driving patterns on the fly after getting informed feedback from environmental conditions. And AI systems are able to react faster and more consistently than humans \u2013 potentially reducing the risk of accidents caused by human error; distraction, tiredness or drink drive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Efficiency:<\/strong> On board traffic systems Agents may plan their routes both avoiding concurs, for which they could be re-scheduled. Agents are able to respond in real-time-to dynamic environmental changes-taxi passing and the disruption of services (such as an accident or emergency work)-by modifying their velocity, searching alternative routes or scheduling tasks in a more efficient way.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Access: <\/strong>For the elderly, disabled or others who can\u2019t drive, AI car agents offer a way to be independent. As those develop, they get to the point where it makes enough comfortable and easy that more people can do safer travel by themselves.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Environmental:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> Reduced journey times and less time idling in traffic will mean fewer vehicle miles travelled \u2013 which can cut fuel consumption and emissions.
